What Do I Need To Get Started?

Tangless

The Electric Tools Consist Of:

1. The quick disconnect keyless chuck electric driver
2. The transformer
3. The installation mandrel (different for Tangless and tanged)

Special Notes:

  • All three components are required to install helically coiled inserts with the electric tool. (The exception is the Direct Plug Electric Tool which does not require a transformer).
  • Each thread size will require a different installation mandrel (see part number links above).
  • The Tangless series of installation tools can be used for both manual and electric installation. For hand installation, snap the mandrel into the (optional) ergonomically designed handle.
  • KATO strongly recommends prewinder type tools for UNF (fine) and Metric thread sizes.
